If you are anything like me you start reading a book and then put it down and never pick it back up.  Well this year was a little different for me!  Here is my list of books that didn’t let me quit, that didn’t  let my schedule get in the way.  These books grabbed me by the collar and arrested my interests, thoughts and emotions.  These books made a finisher out of this quitter!  Maybe they will be a win for your too!  You can click on any pictures or the links to learn more about any of the books.

 Books that Turn Ideas into Reality!!!

If you have a dream for a better life or a better business these are for you.  Your Best Year Ever catapults your plan into action with templates and examples that “quit proof” your plans.  If you are hoping for this season to be filled with wins and accomplishments then start with Your Best Year Ever.  If you need the motivation to take impossible situations by the horns and whip them into the shape with the resources you have then read Chase the Lion.  I felt like I could conquer the world when I read both of these.  Get ready to put in the work toward your dreams!

Books that Turn Battles into Victories

Prayer and scripture team up as battle weapons and war training with these three books.  If you are doubting the power of prayer start with Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire.  It is revival in a book.  The Armor of God breaks open the Bible and teaches you exactly what to do with what the Word says.  And Entrusted is a course in living out your calling by realizing what God has trusted you with.  If you want a banner year for spiritual growth, these three are a trifecta!

Books that Show Real Change is Possible 

Unashamed is LeCrae Moore’s autobiography.  His story is captivating and inspirational.  Present Over Perfect is Shawna Niequist’s journey from the grips of perfectionism to true freedom.  Standing in the Fire chronicles the stories of Christians who profess their faith in the face of impending death.  Play the Man gives you a play by play on what biblical manhood truly is.  If you are not a man, it will help you to appreciate and recognize godly manhood!  All four of these will show you someone else’s life and then a mirror to contemplate your own.

Books that Make You Wake Up and Listen

Do you want to hear from God?  Do you want to make sure your life is on the right track?  Awaken is 90 short daily devotionals that will wake you up to God’s voice.  Whisper will bring you to a quiet place to hear him and understand what He is saying.  Either way you can’t lose with either of these.
